The new issue of Afn Shvel has arrived! It will acquaint our readers and supporters with the wide-ranging and rich Yiddish environment in Australia. This significant issue (100+ pages) includes both brief and extended articles about the variety of Yiddish organizations founded in Australia even before World War II and which are, in part, still active today. This issue also features captivating interviews with Yiddish speakers across three generations, who relate their experiences and relationship with mame-loshn, as well as original Yiddish poetry and prose from Down Under.
