Fly, Fly, My Kite! Original Yiddish Children’s Songs

These original Yiddish children’s songs were composed by the poet and composer Beyle Schaechter-Gottesman in the 1960s and 1970s, mainly for the Yiddish folkshuln in NYC. Some songs relate to Jewish holidays, some to the seasons and others to children‘s fantasies.

The book contains Yiddish words, transliteration, translation and music for all the songs on the companion CD.
