You will be able to see in these pages just how many topics and themes Yiddish creativity and Yiddish research has dealt with through the years and decades, as well as just how far people have tried and are still trying to describe historical changes in Yiddish — whether in literature or on the stage, or simply in individual memoirs. In this issue the reader will also have the honor of reading the very last interview conducted in Yiddish with one of the last Yiddish poets “from the old country” — Rivka Basman Ben-Haim.
