Growing Up Hasidic in Vienna: A Yiddish Life Portrait
Born in Vienna into a Slonim Hasidic family, a descendant of the Tsanz Rebbe, Eidel Malowicki carries within her a vivid life portrait of a Hasidic world within a modern city. In her storytelling, personal memories intertwine with communal history, and Yiddish remains the key language connecting the two.
